Summer MOUNTAIN FARMHOUSE

A light renovation of a second home for a retired couple who spends summers in the mountains.

The house was dated, but the clients liked the existing kitchen and primary bath layouts. The work became more about editing than reworking. In the kitchen, distractions were removed and the existing cabinets were kept, with new tile and countertops bringing a cleaner direction.

The primary bath was fully gutted, while keeping the layout intact. Warm materials, symmetry, and a quiet mix of classic, mountain, and midcentury details gave the space a more refined place to retreat.
